I hate to say it but I believe that Macau is beginning to surpass Las Vegas as the world's "Sin City."
With a gang like the Triads out numbering the police force in Macau and Prostitution at an all time high in the city, it is no surprise that Macau is beginning to surpass Las Vegas as the "Sin City." However, Macau is still a very safe and fun place to visit. There are many HUGE Casinos, many of which are the same ones from Vegas popping up all over in Macau.
My advice when visiting Macau is sticking to the tourist sides of town. Many of the locals are not crazy about foreigners. This applies espically to the nightlife in Macau. Many of the clubs are not foreigner friendly. I suggest sticking with the casinos. But if your feeling brave hit up BAX Disco near the water and DD Disco near downtown. BAX is mostly foreigners: Portugese, Russian and French. DD Disco is an awesome underground place to hang out. However, around 2am the first room in the place (where the band is) begins to get crowded with prostitutes. They like to overcrowd the first room of DD but just act like a regular and walk past security to get back to the back room where the party is really happening. In the back room of DD it is mostly prostitute free and everyone is really friendly (and drunk.) You'll have a blast!
Tour Macau and have fun!

Macau Macao Asia Gambling
Macau (Macao) is a city with two faces: the fortresses, churches and food of former colonial masters Portugal speak to a uniquely European style on the China coast. Macau is also known as the Las Vegas of the East. The last four years have seen once-sleepy little Macau booming with their economy and gambling.
Today's Macau woos commerce and tourism like never before, taking a tradition of gambling and shows to new levels. While the mega-casinos means there's plenty of places to try your hand with Luck, many of Macau's (Macao) pleasures are relaxing, architectural and atmospheric.
